Kay VanAntwerpen is a journalist, author, and musician from Grand Rapids, Michigan. They're most well-known as the full-time bassist and lyricist for pop-rock band Chasing the Sky, and as a reporter and editor with 10+ years in regional music coverage. They have a longstanding collaborative writing partnership with Middlefield drummer, and Chasing the Sky vocalist Brenden Stark.
